Smart Cities Connect Conference & Expo

MARCH 10-12, 2026 | RALEIGH, NC

Smart Cities Smart Bases Innovation Challenge

The Smart Cities Smart Bases Innovation Challenge is looking for YOU to deliver cutting-edge, dual-use technologies that address the intersecting technical, environmental, and security challenges faced by both smart cities and smart military bases.

Municipalities and military installations are increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks, natural and man-made disasters, and disruptions to energy, food, and water supply chains. Both strive to:

  • Strengthen their operations
  • Enhance the security of personnel and facilities, and
  • Deploy disruptive technologies across areas such as AI, energy, communications, mobility, sensors, cybersecurity, resilient infrastructure, and emergency response.

Urban environments provide living incubators and testbeds for rapidly evolving technologies, while the U.S. federal government remains the largest user of energy and the nation's largest landlord. Together, smart cities and smart bases represent an unparalleled opportunity for innovation.

TechConnect, Advanced Technology International (ATI), and the RISE Consortium will leverage their vast ecosystems to connect solution providers with subject matter experts, funding opportunities, and a best-in-class audience for your pitch.

Don't miss your chance to drive innovation and shape the future of smart cities and bases.
