By fostering partnerships both locally and nationally, she leverages her private-sector background to fuel civic innovation in ways not previously seen in local government.

A self-described government rebel, Coughlin participates in numerous conferences and summits as a keynote speaker and panelist, and her work has been profiled in case studies as she continuously pursues new models of digital transformation for collaborative citizen-facing projects. Prior to her work in government, she spent more than 15 years in various IT leadership positions in the private sector, leading development teams in the U.S. and internationally.

Joy Ennis has been an arts administrator for over 20 years with the Town of Cary. Much of that time was spent as the Festivals Coordinator for the Town's art festivals. In 2014, she made the move to open The Cary Theater opened and shepherded the growth of Cary's only art house cinema. In 2020, Joy was tapped to take on the challenge of opening the new Downtown Cary Park. She's thrilled to combine her years of outdoor and indoor events and facility experience to help bring this new park to life.

Gabriel Nave joined Everynet in 2020 to lead the commercial team for Everynet in the U.S., bringing twenty years of experience in the IoT space. Everynet is the largest global operator of national LoRaWAN networks, a radio protocol originally developed to communicate with underground water meters in France. Prior to Everynet, Gabriel was at CalAmp, where he held roles in business development, corporate development, and sales. He was previously part of the Data Solutions team at Nextel and the inaugural IoT solutions team at Sprint, where he had a variety of responsibilities with a focus on infrastructure monitoring and telematics solutions. Gabriel is known as a passionate leader who measures his own success by the success of his customers and partners.

Tom is a 35-year veteran of the I.T. industry. Tom has been part of the Cary I.T. community since 1992, where he's part of the initial team to start up MCI/Verizon's Cary network operations center. Tom led many teams during his tenure at MCI/Verizon, which focused on network management and customer success. Today Tom is an enterprise account executive with NWN Carousel where he utilizes his years of experience to build solutions that focus on meeting business objectives and improving the customer experience.
