Micah Runner is Rancho Cordova's Deputy City Manager. In this role, Micah oversees some of the larger city projects, such as the Mills Crossing Civic Center, as well as key programs, divisions and departments, including the Community Enhancement & Investment Fund, Facilities and Housing Divisions, and the Community Development and Economic Development Departments. Micah has over 18 years of experience in municipal government with a primary focus in economic development and management. Micah previously served as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Stockton where he was responsible for economic development, housing and homeless, real property, venue management, and parking operations. He oversaw a team of 20 employees.

In 2012, Micah was recognized as one of the Sacramento Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.” He has chaired the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s Jobs and Business Growth team for Cap-to-Cap and served on the Board of Directors for the Florin Road Partnership, Power Inn Business and Transportation Association and Downtown Stockton Alliance, among others. Micah has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from California State University, Sacramento. His hobbies include spending time with family and playing soccer.
