Kimberly Sharp, AICP, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Development for the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA); she joined COTA in 2019.  As an experienced city planner, she believes that people are empowered by vibrant places, mobility and connections.  Her previous experience includes Deputy Director of Planning & Development for the City of Westerville, Comprehensive Planning Manager for Flagstaff, Arizona and architectural design for Glave & Holmes Architects of Richmond, Virginia.

Kimberly holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture from the Ohio State University and Masters of City and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She serves on the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Columbus regional management committee and volunteers at the Westerville Farmer’s Market and Westerville Planning Commission.
