Matt Brown serves as Planning Administrator for the Franklin County Economic Development and Planning Department. He oversees Franklin County’s planning and zoning staff which administers County zoning, subdivision, and floodplain regulations in unincorporated areas and provides land use planning services to townships and villages. Over the course of more than 15 years, Matt has managed and led numerous community planning and regulatory update projects helping communities preserve their natural areas, enhance community character, and provide transportation options for everyone. Matt also represents Franklin County on collaborative, multi-jurisdictional projects ensuring that County priorities are considered in project development and implementation.
