Cameron Kraemer

Assistant Chief – Emergency Services

Frisco Fire Department

Cameron Kraemer currently serves as the Assistant Fire Chief of Emergency Services with the Frisco Fire Department.  He has also served in multiple levels in the Frisco Fire Department from volunteer firefighter, career firefighter/paramedic, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, Training Division Chief, and Deputy Chief.  Cameron began his 29 year career in the fire service as a fire explorer with the Carrollton Fire Department and was later hired with CFD, as a support service specialist. While working with CFD, Cameron began volunteering with the Frisco Fire Department.  In 1997 he was hired full time as a Firefighter/Paramedic with FFD when the city had a population of under 25k.  Cameron has moved through the ranks to currently serve as an Assistant Chief in Frisco where the population now exceeds 200k. While in Frisco, Cameron has been part of a variety of projects/areas of the organization including suppression, prevention, emergency medical services, community education, technology, training and emergency management.  He has been involved with the City of Frisco SAFER system since its concept phase and is currently part of the Executive Advisory Committee.
