Devayani Puranik

Devayani Puranik is the new Mobility Development Program Director at the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). Her primary focus is leading high impact coordination and change management on specific initiatives related to the planning, scheduling, and delivery of transit/mobility services for COTA customers.

Prior to COTA, Puranik worked at the City of Dublin as a Senior Planner, where she led various strategic initiatives including Legacy Office Revitalization Plan, Mobility Study, and Dublin 2035 Framework. She was a key staff member for Dublin’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force. In addition, she has also led several innovation and process improvement projects for internal and external stakeholders. Puranik worked at the City of Columbus as a Senior Planner prior to joining Dublin and has led multiple long-range land use planning projects.

She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, earning master’s degrees in City and Regional Planning and Environmental Science. Puranik is also a Black Belt certified Lean Six Sigma professional.
