Andrew Ngui is a visionary systems builder. As a strategic innovation catalyst, he works synergistically to engineer radical inclusivity and unity across silos. He spearheads human-centered movements to garden innovation and helps bridge gaps in ecosystems at scale. He works collaboratively with national and regional leaders to build capacity in innovation, entrepreneurship: new venture creation, corporate innovation, and community development to improve economic performance in the Greater Peoria region.
Andrew is a graduate of Stanford d.school’s, Design Thinking Bootcamp, and the flagship MIT Bootcamp. He launched his first career as a designer at York University and Sheridan College in Toronto, Canada; a specialized design program that blends creativity, innovation, academic rigor, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He is also an alumnus of the renowned Product & Industrial Design program at the School of Design, Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore.
Prior to joining the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, Andrew was a key member of a global innovation team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was instrumental in the development of the Bootcamps and MicroMasters programs. He is widely acknowledged for his success in a bottom-up systems building approach, which resulted in the launch of a number of highly experiential innovation leadership training programs and an active global movement of innovators from around the world.
