Mr. Erik Amundson has over 20 years of experience in virtually all of the areas of Information Technology and has spent over 10 years working on Mechanical and Electrical engineering teams. As a Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Amundson works closely with product development teams, engineering teams, and partners; and consults all teams on system design and infrastructure. Mr. Amundson has extensive experience in technologies and support of advanced data centers such as the OATI Active-Active Private Cloud, in addition to distributed control systems and Microgrid/DER control systems such as and OATI GridControl and GridMind. He has also gained expertise in technologies for system-level electrical and mechanical controls and operation.
Mr. Amundson has been involved in the process of Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Operation of multiple OATI sites and Data Centers, including the OATI South Campus, a premier Microgrid installation with Data Center and Office Space. He has also written sequences, deployed, and commissioned multiple Microgrid and DER controller installations for OATI customers.
