Since 2018, Richardson has helped NREL support state, local, and tribal governments as a program manager for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. Prior to joining NREL, she served as the state science and development director for U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (NM). Richardson holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Caltech and a doctoral physics degree from the University of New Mexico.
