Vince Parisi serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Columbia Gas of Ohio. He has profit and loss responsibility for the company and oversight of the execution of operations, construction, risk management, regulatory, legislative and external strategies, with a focus on delivering safe, reliable and efficient natural gas service to 1.4 million customers across the company’s 61 county service territory.
Prior to assuming this role in June 2020, Vince served as President of the U.S. Utilities for AES Corp. and served as President and CEO of Indianapolis Power & Light Company and Dayton Power and Light Company. In his role, Vince was responsible for the overall business results for each utility and was focused on enhancing customer and stakeholder experience and providing leadership for the company’s strategic plans.
Prior to joining AES, Vince served as Vice President, External and Customer Affairs for Columbia Gas of Ohio, where he led customer and stakeholder experience which includes economic development, large customer relationships, government affairs (federal & state), regulatory affairs, customer care and compliance, energy efficiency, community affairs and communications.
Vince joined Columbia Gas after serving in a variety of senior leadership positions with Gas Natural Inc. and IGS Energy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from The Ohio State University and received his law degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
