With more than three decades of experience in the mobile and telecommunications industry, Kevin Hasley is responsible for a broadening the reach of Ookla’s product portfolio, including world-renowned Speedtest® and Downdetector® platforms. Ookla is the global leader in network intelligence and connectivity insights.
He was CEO of RootMetrics, the industry standard for network and technology performance testing. RootMetrics was acquired by Ookla in 2021. Its real-world measurement and benchmarking insights help customers gain a competitive advantage and make more informed business decisions. In 2009, he joined RootMetrics after 11 years with semiconductor firm Texas Instruments, where he helped create the unique position in the marketplace of the OMAP mobile application.
Alongside next-generation product development, Mr. Hasley was instrumental in developing a benchmarking program at Texas Instruments to test OMAP products against competitors, enable online customer comparisons, alert press to results and harvest data for marketing efforts.
A recipient of the Tau Kappa Alpha Outstanding Engineering Award, Mr. Hasley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, United States.
