Kevin Taylor is the Segment Development Manager for Smart Cities at Axis Communications, Inc.
In this capacity, he is responsible for developing strategies and building channel relationships to
expand Axis’ presence as a thought leader and facilitator in the rapidly emerging Smart Cities
space in the Americas.

Mr. Taylor has more than 17 years of experience building market share in the Low Voltage and
Physical Security industry. His reputation as an educator and as a bridge builder, helping
organizations understand technology, how to best apply it systematically to meet their goals, and
fostering inter- and intra- departmental and organizational relationships, uniquely qualify him to
understand the challenges and the shared benefits for metropolitan areas to develop their
infrastructure, technologies and policies in the goal of becoming a Smart City.

Prior to joining Axis in 2014, Mr. Taylor held multiple positions of increasing responsibility within
the Security Strategic Business Unit of Honeywell International. Mr. Taylor previously served as
the Associate Director for the state of GA low voltage association and is a member of the
American Society for Industrial Security and ITS GA chapter.
