Per Lundqvist

Lundqvist defended his Doctoral thesis in 1993 in applied thermodynamics at the Royal Institute of Technology. Lundqvist has since been active as a researcher and teacher at the Royal Institute of Technology, and became 2007 professor. His research covers both thermodynamic cycles and energy conversion systems but also energy use systems with particular focus on efficient energy use and sustainable development focusing on smart buildings and smart cities. Lundqvist has been active in the IPCC with regard to phasing out of ozone-depleting substances and the connection to global warming. Lundqvist has represented the Royal Institute of Technology in the international cooperation Sustainable Campus Network and serves also as Deputy Dean för Education in the School of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Royal Institute of Technology.
