Bill Miller

VP of Operations

Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

Bill Miller is the Vice President of Operations for the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Bill’s background in public education administration, teaching, and coaching led him in 2011 to the Kauffman Center. An undergraduate degree from Baker University in English, a master’s degree in educational leadership from The University of Kansas, and a facility management background in a growing suburban school district helped to forge Bill’s “alternative route” to becoming the vice president of one of the world’s most beautiful performing arts centers, as reported in the Wall Street Journal. In addition to facility management and security responsibilities, Bill’s team oversees a patron services department which boasts over 500 trained volunteer ushers, and a catering, dining, and event operation with over $2 million in annual revenue.
