Since October 2019, Daniel has held the position of General Manager for the City of Georgetown's Electric Utility, where he is responsible for overseeing both the financial and operational performance of the utility. Before taking on this role, Daniel accumulated over 15 years of experience in senior executive roles within the electric utility sector. His expertise encompasses energy portfolio and risk management, utility infrastructure planning, enhancing infrastructure reliability and resilience, as well as cybersecurity.
Daniel is a Certified Energy Manager® (CEM) and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.
He earned his MBA from the University of Hyderabad in India and a master's degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, practicing his faith, and indulging in his passions for sports and food.
