Brennon is the Director of the NCDOT Integrated Mobility Division. As director, Brennon leads a team of motivated Transit, Bicycle and Pedestrian experts to develop safe, affordable, and innovative multimodal transportation network throughout North Carolina. Brennon brings to this position a unique background, combining his passion for transportation planning with over a decade of experience in roadway design, construction management, program management, and policy development. Brennon received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University in 2011 and his master’s degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University in 2021. Brennon joined NCDOT in 2023 and was named the Director of IMD in July of 2024.
