Nina D’Amato is Chief Technology Strategist for Lenovo’s Public Sector Team with deep experience in IT leadership and national service. Nina is the former CIO for the County of Santa Clara - the 1.2 million residents of the Silicon Valley - where she led a $700M IT organization supporting 30,000 users across a broad array of service lines. Prior roles include Chief of Strategy and Performance for San Francisco’s Department of Technology and Deputy Director of Online Programs at the Naval Postgraduate School. A retired U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel, Nina served 22 years, including two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and a prestigious assignment as a US Department of Defense Congressional Fellow to US Senator Robert Casey, where she worked on defense technology appropriations. She lives in San Francisco and NYC.
