Gabriela is the Innovation Alchemist, more formally known as Raleigh’s Senior Innovation Designer. Gabriela teaches human-centered design and applies it to strategic initiatives through the Raleigh Impact Lab. She also manages the Impact Partner Grant and other entrepreneur support projects. Gabriela has a decade of experience in innovation, design thinking, and user research in the public and private sectors. She holds a BA in Literary Arts and Portuguese and Brazilian Studies from Brown University and an MS in Management from Wake Forest University. Outside of work, you can find her sailing, writing fiction, making short films, and planning her next trip.
