
Jessica Reid is a Senior Sustainability Strategist in the City of Raleigh’s Office of Sustainability, where she leads clean energy and community resilience initiatives to advance Raleigh’s Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP). Her work includes building cross-sector and regional partnerships that support smart city innovation and accelerate climate action across jurisdictional boundaries. She is a certified Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) and is the author of Planet Now: Effective Strategies for Communicating about the Environment. A proud “Double Tar Heel,” Jessica holds a master’s degree in strategic communication and a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and sustainability from UNC-Chapel Hill.
