Andrew McFadden works on the team responsible for several connected and automated vehicle projects at the Transportation Operations and Safety (TOPS) Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His work includes attitudinal surveys of CAV technologies, the development of connected vehicle corridors in Madison Wisconsin, and multiple research projects with the Badger automated vehicle in Racine Wisconsin. He has previous experience at the city and state department of transportation levels and as a transportation consultant. He is a professional engineer, received a BS from the University of Illinois-Urbana, and received a MS from the University of California-Davis.
