Elizabeth (Small Biz Liz) Anderson brings a strong background in business and local economic development to the DMPED Business Development unit as the Director of Great Streets. She has 15 years’ experience as a grants manager, business development consultant and speaker. Prior to her role as Director of Great Streets, she served as a Business Engagement Manager with the Office of Contracts and Procurement and as a DC Main Streets Grant Manager at the Department of Small and Local Business Development. She has been recognized as a dynamic speaker and premier technical assistance advisor by the US Women’s Chamber of Commerce, American University, National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC), Anacostia Economic Development Center (AEDC) and U.S. Black Chamber of Commerce.
