AWS IoT/AI/ML application for smart city challenges

April 4, from 1pm to 4pm ET

This course introduces current market trends and AWS offerings for Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Ai/ML) technologies. You will learn about IoT/Ai/ML opportunities, the overall AWS value proposition, and customer success stories. This will include a deep dive of the various services in the AWS IoT, Ai/ML stack. Live demonstrations that show how these services can be applied to various smart city challenges. You will have the opportunity to bring your current/future projects and discuss them with AWS experts and get advice on how to leverage these technologies in your projects. Lastly, you will learn how to engage AWS resources to help quickly get enabled with these services and accelerate innovation. This will start off as a business presentation and then will seamlessly transition into a technical session.

About the Instructors

Tim Wilson
Sr. IoT Enablement Specialist

Tim Wilson is an IoT Enablement Specialist with AWS's Public Sector Partner organization. In this role Tim works with AWS public sector partners to support their adoption and use of AWS IoT services and solutions. He started at AWS as a Solution Architect in 2012 when AWS's Public Sector business was relatively small. He has also held roles at AWS managing an IoT prototyping lab and as a technical presenter in the AWS Executive Briefing Center. In addition to AWS he has worked in Solution Architecture and Product Management roles at several tech startups including a startup that built cloud orchestration and management solutions

Raj Kadiyala
Senior AI/ML Evangelist

Raj Kadiyala is Senior AI/ML Evangelist at AWS. Raj has close to decade of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning and helps Public Sector Partners adopt AWS AI/ML Services through enablement and evangelism.
