Since joining Elkus Manfredi Architects in 1992, Oscar Mertz’s work has focused on urban planning and architectural design of retail-driven mixed-use developments across the country and the globe.

In addition to his work on CityPlace in West Palm Beach, Oscar has been a lead planner and designer on Hudson Yards in New York City; Union Point in Weymouth, Massachusetts; Santa Clara mixed use development in Santa Clara, California; Buttonville outside of Toronto; Fairview Point Claire in Montreal; the Easton Town Center master plan in Columbus, Ohio; and the Heart of Israel master plan in Tel Aviv.

Oscar holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Princeton University and a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University School of Architecture.
