Head of Government Business, responsible for the go to market strategy & planning for connected lighting systems and services. Recently was Head of Professional Systems responsible for the execution and strategic direction of the business and brings deep knowledge of a configurable set of LED products, software, network and controls that can deliver value to customers seeking energy efficient, connected lighting solutions across multiple segments including Public lighting (e.g. Federal, State, Municipal), Office & Industry, Retail & Hospitality and HealthCare.
Jeff was previously CEO of Philips Color Kinetics – a dynamic LED systems company that was acquired by Philips in 2007. Prior to joining Philips Color Kinetics, Jeff served as President and CEO for Millennial Net, a networking software company for wireless sensor and network applications where he was responsible for the strategic direction and general management of the company, and successfully positioned the company for acquisition.
Prior to that, Jeff was Senior Vice President of End User Systems and Services for Brooks Automation, a provider of automation solutions and integrated subsystems to the global semiconductor and related industries and has more than twenty-five years of experience in serving the discrete manufacturing, semiconductor and electronics industries. He held a number of senior management positions over his long tenure with Brooks, serving as a key contributor to the company's growth in revenue and market share. Jeff has also served as the VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for FASTech (which was later acquired by Brooks Automation), Intellution, Inc. and also held product marketing roles at Analog Devices, Inc. and Foxboro Company.
Jeff has a BSc from the University of Connecticut, a Master in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science from Yale University, and a M.B.A. from Boston College. Jeff has also recently completed an Executive Leadership and Management Program at IMD.
