Sam A. Mehta, P.E. is a senior vice president in Gresham, Smith and Partners’ Water + Environment practice. He has more than 30 years of aviation environmental experience including environmental sustainability, project management, environmental compliance, construction management, engineering and litigation support. His long tenure at San Francisco International Airport overseeing sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives makes him an invaluable resource to clients.

Throughout his career, Sam has gained the reputation in the industry for his demonstrated ability and passion. His personal and organizational achievements have been recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Airport Council International and Airports Going Green. Sam has served as the chairperson for Airport Council International - North America’s (ACI-NA) Environmental Committee’s Air Quality Working Group and co-chair of ACI-NA’s Sustainability Working Group. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Mumbai, a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Louisiana and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University Houston.
