As an innovation partnership manager, Bart Vuijk is responsible at TNO for setting up strategic
partnerships for predictive Digital Twins with both public and private organizations. He is part of the
management team of the Urban Strategy group in the Mobility & Built Environment Unit. Supported
by the internationally acclaimed TNO digital twin experts team, he shapes international solutions for
governments and businesses that need the power of predictive twins in their increasingly complex
decision making processes.

Bart is managing the global scaling up strategy for Urban Strategy, the predictive digital twin platform
developed by TNO. Urban Strategy is a revolutionary instrument for cities and companies that
supports managing complex, multi-domain planning challenges with extreme speed, saving
tremendously on infrastructure investments and decision times, while supporting decision making
for sustainable, liveable, accessible and inclusive cities. Urban Strategy was recently rolled out in San
Diego, CA, the largest application of an urban predictive digital twin platform worldwide.


Bart previously worked at Siemens in telecommunications and traffic technology in various
international roles and responsibilities, both in The Netherlands and Canada, and obtained his
master’s degree in electrical engineering from TU Delft.
