Jasmine Vreugdenburg

Jasmine is the Manager of the Innovation & Collaboration Centre, a strategic partnership between the University of South Australia, SA Government and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Jasmine has more than 15 years of policy and government experience across the portfolios of innovation and research in the higher education sector. She has held a policy adviser role for former Premier of South Australia, John Olsen and Rob Kerin and has been actively involved in the development of commercialisation and innovation policies for the SA State Government. Jasmine has broad management experience gained from working and consulting with key stakeholders across a number of strategic projects in both government and the university sector and has an interest in supporting start-up companies, and the role of universities in supporting entrepreneurship. Jasmine also has experience of the commercialisation and transfer of research knowledge through her experience working in the technology transfer office at the University of South Australia. Jasmine manages a proof of concept seed fund at the University of South Australia called Venture Catalyst, and has been actively involved in supporting startup companies through this role and as the Manager of the ICC which provides incubation support to start-ups. She was educated at the University of South Australia and holds a Bachelor Degree majoring in Psychology.
